If you enjoy action packed movies with a tad of comedy mixed into the movie, then Zombieland: Double Tap is the perfect movie for that certain viewer. It was released on October 18, 2019 to follow up the first movie in the series which was a titanic hit in the theaters.

The first movie in the series came out in 2009 which presented the fantastic fantasy idea where a zombie apocalypse took over the United States and four individuals, each from different backgrounds, made their best attempt at staying away from the zombies and thrive in the harsh environment with many appearances from other well known actors like Bill Murray.

“It was my favorite movie for awhile growing up,” Adam Villano said, a Hillsborough High School student said. “The movie was jammed packed with action and it also made me giggle on numerous occasions. It was sick.”

The Four individuals, Columbus, Tallahassee,  Wichita and little Rock, all meet each other in the first movie in the series where they each brought something different to the table to create the most flawless group in the apocalypse. However in the second movie, the group takes on new adventures and have to overcome more difficult obstacles in their path.

Columbus and Tallahassee are the perfect combo, with Columbus being nerdy and Tallahassee being the jock and killing machine. The two bring laughter to the viewers by having the two interact in such a way. Another movie means another famous actor appearance which resulted in an appearance from Luke Wilson and Zoey Deutch.

Christy Lemire, a movie review writer, talked about her enjoyments after seeing the hit. “The cast is larger, the carnage is gnarlier and the comedy is even more meta than before,” Lemire said. “It was a good way to follow up the first movie.”
