Famous classic rock group Cheap Trick has just released an album titled In Another World. This album is nothing ordinary, as it is the band’s 20th album. Formed in 1973, veteran band Cheap Trick certainly blew us away with this album. Cheap Trick is responsible for many of your favorite karaoke staples such as “The Flame”, “Ghost Town.”, “Dream Police”, and “I Want You to Want Me”.

The Illinois-based rockers put out their self-titled debut in 1977. On April 9, they released their 20th album, a sprightly 13-track effort titled In Another World. This album has classic rock written all over it but it certainly expresses modern themes. With our world turned upside down last March, the track “The Summer Looks Good on You” demonstrates a very positive message for the future.

Rick Neilsen, the band’s co-founder, guitarist, and chief songwriter, told USA Today “ We released ‘The Summer Looks Good on You’ as a single a few years ago before we started working on the album. The chorus, ‘Here comes the summer,’ suggests something good and positive that’s coming. The summer could be a metaphor for change, a new idea, something fresh, looking forward.”

Inducted to the Rock and Roll hall of fame in 2016, Cheap Trick undoubtedly produces great music. If you like classic or punk rock bands such as Blink-182, Kiss, or calmer artists like the Beatles, this album is definitely worth a listen.
