From the beginning (unlike other horror movies that contain a boundary between fictional and fake) this artist went above and beyond blurring the line between what was and wasn’t real. The film embodies the saying “you get what you pay for.” Terrifier 3, is a horror movie about a clown, named Art, who dresses as Santa and terrorizes the children and homes of Miles County, New York as they approach the once happy holidays.
After surviving Art The Clown and becoming the first two victims to make it out alive, main characters Sienna (Lauren LaVera) and Jonathan Shaw (Elliott Fullam) struggle to rebuild their once normal life, without fear or paranoia. As the cheerful holiday season approaches they make the attempt to celebrate with loved ones, get into the Christmas spirit, and leave all their past horror and trauma behind.
Then, just as they think they escaped Art the Clown, he returns. This film creates a new idea of what horror can really be. The performance of the actors were on point and helped create suspense and isolation within the whole film, especially in its many unexpected jumpscares.
In addition to this, Terrifier 3 leaves the audience questioning what exactly the plot was. Since the storyline in the beginning was not clear, due to starting off with murders.
However, unlike other calmer horror films, this movie was very strict on viewer age and other discrepancies so parents should think twice before bringing their younger children to watch. This movie is worth seeing if you’re really into horror films and don’t mind receiving the eerie feeling of fear and goosebumps.
