As the spring sports season kicks off, the Hillsborough High School Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse Team is gearing up for a long and competitive season. After finishing the 2023–2024 season with a disappointing 6–12 record, the team enters this year with high hopes and State Championship aspirations.
Reflecting on his senior season, Senior Captain Jack Minetti said, “I am most looking forward to playing one final year with my teammates and friends that I have made over my years of playing.” Similarly, fellow Captain Collin DePace shared, “I am looking forward to making memories with the team one last time.”
As of April 28, the boys hold a 6–5 record. Junior goalkeeper Matthew Siegelaub recorded the first shutout of his career on April 24 against Old Bridge High School. Siegelaub said, “The goal for this year is to win and make it to the State Championship. I would also like to improve on my overall performance from last year.”
With strong leadership and renewed determination, the team looks to build momentum and achieve its championship ambitions.
