Fall flavors have arrived. Your pumpkin spice dreams can come true at places like McDonald’s, Dunkin, Starbucks, Ritas, Krispy Kreme, and Smoothie King. Stop by soon because many of these items are still available. Otherwise, you can plan ahead for next year now that you know about all of the delicious special items available only in the fall.
McDonald’s has a Pumpkin Spice Latte it is freshly brewed with pumpkin and cinnamon flavor while it is made from blended black beans with steamed whole or fat free milk. A turnover-style pastry covered in pastry that you can either get Pumpkin or Créme flavored. Mcdonald’s might not have a lot of fall flavors but Dunkin does….
Dunkin has a lot of different varieties of affordable foods and drinks, prices start from $4 to $6 dollars for drinks and their food and bakery prices are only $1-3 dollars. Dunkin has a lot of funny names for their food and drinks like, Spidey donuts, Pumpkin donuts, pumpkin munchkins, Halloween Chocolate donuts, Halloween vanilla donuts, Halloween Sprinkle donuts, and Pumpkin Loaf. There are also many different drinks to try like the Hot or Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte, Mixed Berry Daydream Refresher, Cereal ‘N Milk Latte, and 2 different Candy Bar Lattes. Dunkin has a lot of fall flavors that many people love to eat and or drink.
Another clear favorite is Starbucks, a popular hot (or cold) stop before school. If you are feeling more expensive Starbucks drink prices vary from $6 to $8 dollars. There are so many different options to choose from like, Pumpkin Spice Creme, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Ice Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte, Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino, Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, Iced Apple Crisp Shaken Espresso, Apple Crisp Oatmilk Frappuccino(which is very great option for those who are dairy free), Ice Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, and my personal favorite, Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte. There are also two good fall foods, Baked Apple Croissant and Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin. There are many different options to choose from, maybe that is why everyone loves it.
Rita’s has a few different flavors that I know a lot of people love. Their best selling is the Apple Butter Concrete, it has vanilla custard blended with apple butter and vanilla wafers, and stuffed with apple pie filling. There is also a Pumpkin Pie Concrete and vanilla custard blended with pumpkin cream and vanilla wafers. Finally, they have a Harvest Swirl Concrete, a blend of apple butter and pumpkin flavors with vanilla custard topped with pumpkin créme.
Everyone talks about who has the better donuts, Dunkin or Krispy Kreme. Krispy Kreme has unique donuts like a Blue Ribbon Apple Pie Doughnut, an unglazed shell filled with apple cinnamon topped with caramel icing, cinnamon cookie crumbs, and white drizzle. They have a crowd favorite, Caramel Churro Doughnut, a cinnamon-sugar coated doughnut with caramel icing, inspired by fairground churros. Another unique flavor is the Cotton Candy Doughnut, an Original Glazed with blue icing, cotton candy sugar, strawberry icing and buttercream. Finally, there is the Kreme Ruff Doughnut, an unglazed doughnut with white Kreme filling, powdered sugar, and a doughnut hole on the top.
Fall flavors are also available at Smoothie King, a favorite place for Boro students. They have a few different options including the Pumpkin Power Meal, Pumpkin Slim-N-Trim, Pumpkin Vegan, Pumpkin Coffee High Protein, and Pumpkin D-Lite.
