Pizza and frozen yogurt are two things that can be found on all corners of Hillsborough, but finding a place to get your falafel on might prove a challenge. Fortunately, The Falafel House, now open on Towne Centre Drive will satisfy your Middle Eastern cravings.

The recently opened restaurant is the perfect place for a casual, culturally enriching bite. The venue, upon first sight, seems small, however the close proximity of the kitchen, counter, and seating all contribute to the casual atmosphere that the restaurant creates.

The service is refreshingly friendly and undoubtedly efficient. The owner, who also happens to be the cook, will gladly come out to greet you to ensure that you are content with your food. He will even ask if there’s anything that he can do for you.

Some of their specialties include the Chicken Shawarma Platter and the Falafel Sandwich. The side of house-made chips accompanies the spices and flavor well. The menu’s delicacies are reasonably priced and excel well beyond expectations in quality.

The place itself is also very inviting. Decorated with stunning photographs and a Middle Eastern inspired design, the restaurant is clean and effectively contributes to the relaxed and delightful aura.

The Falafel House offers more to Hillsborough than just another food place for the citizens to indulge in; it offers a casual and cultural experience that is dedicated to bringing a touch of the Middle East to our welcoming community of Hillsborough.
