Girls gymnastics added another win to its growing list after defeating North Hunterdon. The team is currently undefeated.

With a max score of 108.3, the team was led by sophomores Jordyn Bell and Sam Ringel and senior Rebecca Lubin.

This team is off to a great start. Following in the previous team’s footsteps, a repeated undefeated season is on the horizon.

The talent on the team is comparable to the past gymnastics teams which gives a competitive advantage against all of Boro’s opponents. The team will look to add a fourth straight county title to its long list of accomplishments next month.

As the team celebrates its win, they have little time to prepare for a major meet where multiple teams, rather than two, compete at one time. In the past years, Hillsborough has come victorious from this annual meet and Coach Murrin expects nothing less of this team.

“We have a great deal of talent this season,” Murrin said. “I expect nothing but success for this team and I can not wait to see what the upcoming meets hold for us.”

The gymnasts on the team are very excited for what the season holds and are doing everything to ensure another undefeated record.

“The season so far has been going really well,” sophomore Haley Mandell said. “We have worked very well together as a team and have kept up the team spirit.”

With the team and the coaching staff being optimistic, there is no competition for Boro’s finest gymnasts.  The team continues to work hard and prepare to defend its county title.
