Meet Jillian Boose, the President!

Senior Jillian Boose is a vibrant personality, and makes HHS the place that it is.

Last spring, students elected senior Jillian Boose as Student Council President. She is a renowned face of the HHS community, but who is our president?

For many students, volleyball is a leisurely gym class activity. For senior Jillian Boose, however, the sport means much more than that.

A captain of the volleyball team, Boose has been enjoying volleyball for the last five years, including her entire high school career. Boose is a kill specialist; hence the volleyball program is lucky to have her.

When she’s not taking on competition on the court, Boose can be seen fulfilling her duties as student council president. From planning the homecoming dance to spirit night to lunch time activities, Boose’s role cannot be underappreciated. Her work truly contributes to HHS being the fun, and exciting community that it is.

Boose hopes to extend her impact beyond the walls of HHS. Training to becoming an EMT, she hopes to help create a safe community around her.

Boose aspires to be a physician’s assistant one day, but I’m sure HHS students wouldn’t mind if she continues her political career in 2036!

“I try my best to make decisions that benefit the student body of HHS,” Boose said. “Ultimately, I really hope to make a difference.”

Next time you see Jill in the hallway, say hello or even shake her hand. It’s not everyday you get to meet the president.
