One of the school’s newest clubs has its eyes on innovation and stacking paper.

“I thought of the idea over the summer, and it really stuck with me,” junior Ishaan Parikh said. “Right when school started, I planned to try to start the club”.

The entrepreneur club had no problem getting off the ground. Right away, Parikh and classmate Vishal Rachapudi were able to get English teacher Thomas McDevitt to serve as their club advisor. In addition, the club already has around 20-30 students interested in joining.

The entrepreneur club hopes to operate similarly to the T.V. show, “Shark Tank”. The club members will work both individually and collaboratively in an attempt to think of ideas and inventions. With these creations, the club will compete in tournaments against other towns in Somerset County.

“There is already a conference with judges and other schools presenting their ideas,” Parikh said. “We hope to represent Hillsborough in the future”.

The club plans to start in November. Who knows, Hillsborough’s up and coming entrepreneur club might even hatch the next million dollar idea.
