Superbowl Sunday is the day most sports fans look forward to. It is the day one team will finally be crowned champion after five grueling months; it is one of the most anticipated events of the year.

However, for some fans, the most exciting action comes in between the ends of each quarter or game breaks.

Super bowl commercials have been a staple for many years now bringing excitement and laughter to viewers. Large companies such as Doritos, Bud Light, and Pepsi have been known to produce quality commercials annually. There were a great mix of commercials this year from emotional to sad to highly anticipated movie trailers.

Here were the ones that stood out:

Doritos, “Now it’s Hot”

This commercial contained a much needed collaboration between Chance the Rapper and the Backstreet Boys. They were advertising their new flavor “Flamin Hot Nacho”. The commercial contained exotic cars, fun music, and entertained the audience the whole way through.

NFL, “NFL 100 Celebration”

The NFL got superstars past and present into one commercial for the ultimate game while celebrating the 100th season of the NFL. It started with Marshawn Lynch dropping the golden football on the ground with players jumping onto it right after. Scenes contain plays being made by players such as Peyton Manning, Odell Beckham Jr, and many more. This was an exciting commercial that will contain all of your favorite players.

Microsoft, “We All Win”

Despite the commercials being all light-hearted and funny, this commercial emotionally affected everyone watching. It is sweet in showing how, to most kids, video games are not that important. However, to disabled kids who want to fit in with their friends, playing video games can mean the world.
