Recent graduates of Hillsborough High School should make sure to take in all the town has to offer.

Graduation is coming in just a few days, and hundreds of members of the HHS family are preparing to depart Hillsborough’s hallowed halls. However, before moving on to the next phase of their lives, recent graduates should make sure to check out some of Hillsborough’s most fun activities.

  1. Go to a Somerset Patriots game

Located just outside of Hillsborough, TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater hosts the Somerset Patriots, a semiprofessional baseball team. While taking in an exciting game, recent graduates can grab traditional ballpark food, watch scintillating fireworks displays, and participate in fun break activities like the t-shirt toss.

       2. Hike the Sourland Mountains

Right in Hillsborough is one of the most gorgeous hiking locations in all of New Jersey. The Sourland Mountains offer dozens of different interconnected trails, allowing hikers to choose from a wide range of hike lengths and difficulty levels. Grads should grab a friend and hit the trails to disconnect and unwind in nature.

        3. Get half-price appetizers at Applebee’s

A favorite for many throughout high school, heading to Applebee’s after 10 PM to order half-price appetizers always serves as a fun night out. With a group of friends in tow, recent graduates should order a ton of food and enjoy good conversation and laughs with friends one last time.

Really, grads should make sure to do their favorite activities from throughout high school one last time. Whatever activity recent grads choose, they should make sure to take in all Hillsborough has to offer before they move on.
